School spirit shines through in durable floor coverings.

Lathrop High School, in Fairbanks, AK, has seen its fair share of foot traffic in the 58 years it’s been open — and so has its carpet. Due for a renovation, the school needed floor coverings that were durable and low maintenance but that also provided a sense of cheer and personality.

Lathrop High School administrators took the advice of their project architect and chose norament® grano and norament grano stairtreads. “The floor is easy to maintain and reflects light to brighten hallways,” said Larry Morris, project manager — facilities management, Fairbanks North Star Borough School District.

The image of the school’s mascot, an Alaskan malamute, in the lobby floor captures the school spirit while time spent cleaning the hallway floors has dropped significantly.
